Lesson 1
Are you are sitting at home, wondering " to travel, or not to travel?" Stop. Save money. Go. That is all you need to know. For those who like adventure, don't just read about it, but do it. I guarantee, you will learn more in the few weeks, months, whatever, that you travel than in the years you spend at home. Traveling, don't get me wrong, is tough. You will face challenges and, probably, a few sketchy situations. However, you will learn and grow a ton. Traveling is the best way to expand your horizon. If you are like me, and have no idea where life is taking you, then my advise is, let it take you. There is no better feeling than letting go and enjoying your freedom. If you are done with school and lack the security of a "real" job, embrace the time you have. Whether it's Central America or the Grand Canyon, I encourage everyone to travel more. That is, unless you have kids....sorry.
My Decision to Blog
This summer I took a trip down to Central America. It was on a whim and not well planned. Truthfully, I only had my first 2 days maped out when I arrived. In the end my trip was filled with life lessons, funny stories, and many many experiences. I decided to make this blog in order that other people planning a similiar trip can take what I've learned and use it to their advantage. In this blog I will give my opinion on the places to go, the places to avoid, the things the pack, the things to leave, and how to save a few bucks. Along with the helpful stuff, I may just give a few stories in between. Enjoy.
